Based in Cape Cod, the Cape Playhouse has a special place in American theatre history as the longest-running professional summer theater in the country.

Harwich Junior is an official professional theater under the auspices of the Cape Cod theater company. The theater, which has been established for more than 50 years, actively produces theater performances every year with stories that are always fresh and new. Within a year, Harwich Junior Theater was able to produce at least 10 full productions.

Ms. Fofonoff founded and served as executive producer of Fiddlehead Theatre Company (FTC) from 1993–2016. FTC, a professional, award-winning entity, produced plays and musicals in Boston and beyond. FTC was also dedicated to serving Boston’s surrounding communities by educating children of all abilities and backgrounds in the theater arts. Ms. Fofonoff helmed Fiddlehead’s journey from its own 1927 vaudeville house to Boston’s Strand Theatre and then finally to Boston’s Shubert Theatre, where its production of Show Boat won the IRNE and Elliot Norton Awards for Best Musical. Martha’s Vineyard Playhouse is a professional, non-profit working theater dedicated to inspiring, enriching and entertaining our diverse island community.

Now entering its 51st year, Children’s Theatre creates exceptional theatre and musical theatre classes offering a professionally trained Program Director and staff of college theatre students. Our talented staff write, compose and perform original musical works. Many of our staff alumni have gone on to professional careers in live theatre, film and the entertainment industry. This very special theatre program for young people, for both year round and seasonal residents and visitors, includes acting, singing, dance, theatre games, improvisation and beach days.
