The mission of Columbia Children's Theatre is to create experiences that encourage children to change their world through the transformative power of live theatre.

The Chapin Theatre Company engages, inspires, entertains and challenges audiences with theatrical productions that range from the classics to new works; we train and support the next generation of theatre artists; and we celebrate the essential power of the theatre to illuminate our common humanity.

The Storefront Theatre is accepting submissions for our 8th annual 10-minute play festival. Like all theatres at this time, we are uncertain as to the future but we’re going to take a chance that by next March, we will be able to present the plays on stage as live concert readings. If that isn’t possible, then we will present online as a video recording or live-stream. A blind panel of judges with broad theatre experience will select 8-10 plays to be presented as concert readings and will choose a first place winner who will receive a cash award of $75.00.

At The Storefront Theatre, we tell stories through the faces and voices of actors but your imagination supplies the rest – set, props, costumes, everything.

The Grover C. Maxwell Performing Arts Theatre, part of the Division of Enrollment and Student Affairs, is the cultural heart of the Augusta University campus, and students take center stage.

The Matthews Playhouse of Performing Arts and the African American Playwrights Group (AAPG) have joined forces to collaborate and expand the Black and Indigenous People of Color (BIPOC) presence in the Matthews area within the performing arts.
