The Poets’ Theatre aspires to elevate the poetic possibilities of the theatre. We invite audiences to share in the universal languages of poetry and theatre, which imbue every element, including language, lighting, movement, sound, and space, with multiple meanings, allowing us to express the otherwise inexpressible. We celebrate the work of poets past and present, and innovate new ways of theatre-making that electrify audiences and illuminate the vast and beautiful diversity of the human experience.

The Lexington Players is an award-winning community theater company founded in 1995 as the town’s only theater group.

The mission of Theatre@First is to work together to provide a fun, friendly, and creative theatre experience for cast, crew, and audience alike. The Front Porch Arts Collective will examine the interactions between race, economics, culture, gender and sexuality from a Black and Brown perspective. We exist to make art that challenges notions of the Black and Brown experience, and we seek a deeper understanding of the struggle. Underground Railway Theater creates live performance in the activist and collaborative spirit of its namesake, inspiring an expanded image of the possible. The Nora Theater Company (“The Nora”) promotes the feminine perspective through mainstage productions, That’s What She Said events, providing opportunity, support and mentoring for female artists and the exploration of gender and feminism.
