The mission of Arizona Theatre Company is to inspire, engage, and entertain –one moment, one production, and one audience at a time.

Championing the development and production of new plays while producing plays by established playwrights whose work resonates with the diversity of our audiences; partnering with regional civic organizations to foster diversity (geographic, cultural and ethnic) in play development and productions; and producing diverse and quality programs for youth.

Something Something Theatre was founded in 2015 by Joan O'Dwyer, Esther Almazán and Whitney Morton Woodcock to present modern plays from the canon and reimagined classics, with a goal of better-than-parity for women playwrights, season after season.

The Tucson Fringe Festival is an unjuried, uncensored performing arts festival. Following international fringe tenets, the festival provides artists with low-risk, low-cost opportunities to perform by using economies of scale to reduce venue rental costs and by taking 0% of the artist’s earnings. Additionally, the festival also provides the Tucson arts community with avant-garde, non-traditional performing arts at very low ticket prices. Arizona Repertory Theatre (ART) serves as the public laboratory and showcase for The University of Arizona's professional training programs. The performers who constitute the resident actor training company are students from the Bachelor of Fine Arts program in Acting and Musical Theatre. The company is modeled directly after professional examples such as the large classical repertory theatres in the U.S., Canada and Europe.

A very visible force in Tucson for over 49 years… The Invisible Theatre (IT) of Tucson, a non-profit 501 (c) 3 organization, is dedicated to producing quality theatre and arts education experiences for all facets of the community in an intimate setting that showcases local professional talent and guest artists. The Invisible Theatre is fully accessible to patrons using wheelchairs or with other mobility challenges. Seating areas to accommodate persons using wheelchairs are located in the theatre.

Winding Road Theater Ensemble's mission is to tell dynamic, theatrical stories that illuminate the human condition and celebrate the theater’s power to entertain us, to move us, and to bring us joy, with a special commitment to developing new work by American playwrights. Winding Road Theater Ensemble, located in Tucson, Arizona, was established in 2009 by Dramatist Guild member Toni Press-Coffman, among others. Winding Road is dedicated to performing and developing new works along with producing contemporary and classic plays. We are opening submissions for our third annual ten minute play festival.
