Barrington Stage Company (BSC) is a not-for-profit professional theatre company with a three-fold mission: to produce top-notch, compelling work; to develop new plays and musicals; and to find fresh, bold ways of bringing new audiences into the theatre, especially young people. The Theater Barn is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 1984 with a mission to enrich, educate, and entertain its audiences through the experience of live theater. Each summer, we provide young nationally-recruited professional actors with a nurturing atmosphere where they can feel comfortable to take risks and develop their craft. We present diverse productions that appeal to different age groups as we strive to build a younger audience for the future. We also maintain reasonable ticket prices so that seniors as well as young families can afford to attend our shows.
