dg resource directory
The act of submitting creative work for a dramatist is as necessary as finishing it. But the process of finding the right submission opportunity can feel overwhelming. This is why, for more than 20 years, the Dramatists Guild has compiled a submissions and opportunities database, and published a full directory of theatres, agents, festivals, contests, workshops, retreats, and other submission opportunities to help make the life of the dramatist an easier one.

This functionality is part of suite of resources designed to help playwrights, composers, lyricists and librettists.

Only active members or subscribers of the Guild may use the Resource Directory.

Update or Submit a New Listing Use our submission form to submit new listings or update a current one.

JAC Publishing & Promotions (JAC) began publishing over 30 years ago. In 1995, we dedicated our efforts almost entirely toward publishing New England Entertainment Digest (NEED), an arts & entertainment monthly covering the arts in New England and New York. With NEED now an online resource and no longer a print publication, JAC ventured into another area where it can support the arts - publishing scripts and arts-related books!

  • New World Theatre acknowledges that there is a crisis of understanding and awareness that is deeply rooted in our history of racism, and if we are ever going to fully dismantle the institutions of systemic racism, we need to stop... and listen to those who continue to suffer simply because they are black. We can no longer afford to ignore what is happening to our fellow human beings, which is why we are creating a collection of monologues that will give voice to those who can no longer remain silent. Through the power of writing and theatre, we can do our part to amplify the stories of...

Est. 2007. Annual literary journal of contemporary US, Russian, and international writers in English translation. The journal was founded to honor the spirit of samizdat, the disenfranchised Soviet writers' practice of publication through whatever means, and to celebrate the Russian literary tradition of perseverance. It is through our perseverance in promoting writing from all over the world that we store up the riches of other cultures and keep them safe from perishing, building a humanity that speaks the same language through literature and seeks to right global prejudices. As well as...
