The Irish Classical Theatre Company is a performing arts theatre located in Buffalo, NY. It presents outstanding productions at The Andrews Theatre, Western New York's only true theatre-in-the-round.

The annual international competition was founded in 1989 by Alleyway Theatre in memory of Canadian actor/playwright Maxim Mazumdar (1953-1988).

Est. 1980. The company is steadfastly dedicated to the development and production of new plays and musicals and makes its home in a beautifully renovated 33,000 sq. ft. former bus depot in the heart of Buffalo New York’s historic Theatre District.

The Brazen-Faced Varlets’ mission is to produce consequential works with strong artistic integrity while being committed to promoting the growth of female theater artists. Post-Industrial Productions is a theater company in Buffalo, NY founded in 2011. We produce theatrical performances that attract younger patrons to the theatre by making work that educates about and encourages discussion of important social issues affecting the lives of young people.

RLTP is dedicated to the development and production of new theatrical works by Western New York and Southern Ontario playwrights through a variety of programming. Founded as a sister company of American Repertory Theater of WNY, the Navigation Theatre's two show season was cut short by the COVID 19 pandemic. This fledgling company will see future productions in the works with the same dedication of bringing diversity, integrity, transparency and inclusivity to the stage.

The mission of the American Repertory Theater is twofold. First, the mandate of The American Repertory Theater of WNY is to produce both classic and contemporary theatrical works and support a new generation of playwrights. These productions are purposefully created through the innovative exploration of these selected works, thereby enhancing the cultural and intellectual experience of the theatergoer. Second, the American Repertory Theater of WNY will serve as a catalyst for community dialogue and action that will result in sustained economic growth and increase the collaboration within all...

Est. 1980. The Kavinoky Theatre has produced over 200 shows in the last 37 years and has earned a reputation for consistently high-quality productions, a solid subscriber base, and has received more awards than any other theatre in Buffalo.

The PRT periodically commissions out-of-town directors from other cities and collaborates with local companies that include the Irish Classical Theatre, Ujima Company, Inc., Shea’s Performing Arts Theatre and MusicalFare Theatre, among others. The 130-seat physical theater is housed inside of the African American Cultural Center at 350 Masten Avenue. The Paul Robeson Theatre season runs from September to May, with an average of five productions that focus on the African American experience. Season subscriptions and group rates are available.
