It has come to our attention that some state governments, including the State of New York, have been requesting the return of unemployment insurance funds that were previously given out to citizens, including freelancers and writers.
Please let us know if you collected unemployment insurance funds from the State of New York AND recently received a request from the New York State Department of Labor to return the money. If you do not live or work in the state of New York, but have received a similar request from your state, we'd love to hear from you as well.
