Here at the Dramatists Guild Institute, we would like to ensure that our rigorous training opportunities are as inclusive and accessible as possible. And so, we are pleased to introduce two new types of inexpensive programming at the DGI for summer 2021!
Next month, we'll be offering a one day intensive on writing for TV led by Zakiyyah Alexander. This intensive will be the first in our "Perspectives" series, a new DGI lecture series which will highlight a variety of dramatic writers discussing a particular topic of interest. The new Perspectives series will accommodate a larger group of students wanting to broaden their dramatic horizons.
The whole family can join us at the DGI this summer, adults and teens alike, because we're offering a playwriting class with Crystal Skillman for teenagers who love to write. In our very first writing workshop for teens, students will meet weekly to read, share, and discuss dramatic writing.
