SCRIBD is a website which hosts user uploaded material, including scripts, sheet music and other forms of copyrightable material, which may have been posted without the author’s permission. Recently, the Guild has received several reports from members that they have discovered their work available on SCRIBD which had been uploaded without their consent.
This is not the first time the Guild has been made aware of this kind of website and we wanted to take the opportunity to encourage our members to visit SCRIBD and search for any of your work that may have been posted without your consent. If you discover any infringing material, please follow the takedown procedures to have your work removed listed here.
