How the CASE Act Small Claims Court Will Work in Practice
The Copyright Alternative in Small-Claims Enforcement Act (the “CASE Act”) was enacted into law on December 27, 2020. Once the CASE Act implementation is complete, it will create a low-cost and voluntary tribunal within the U.S. Copyright Office to handle certain small copyright claims brought by copyright owners and users of copyrighted works.
