Registration is now open for six to eight week courses beginning May 11.
The DGI's first summer line-up offers brand new online writing workshops such as Dramatic Action, Pulitzer Prompts, and Creative Criticism and Paths to Playwriting. We are delighted to welcome a new instructor to the DGI community as well; this summer, Adam Szymkowicz will join us to teach a specialty workshop on Genre Playwriting.
The Dramatists Guild Institute offers hands-on, rigorous training for writers at all skill levels, and the course offerings for our very first summer semester are no exception.
Q: How do I apply to the DGI's Summer 2020 courses?
A: Visit our website to view the DGI summer 2020 courses. Once you have selected the course to which you would like to apply, you will be taken to its registration page, where you can register and pay in order to reserve your spot. When you have successfully registered for the course, you will receive a confirmation email.
Q: What should I do if I want to apply for both the Certificate Program and for a course this semester?
A: If you are applying for the DGI Certificate in Dramatic Writing, and would like to register for a summer 2020 course, we encourage you to register for the course first in order to reserve your place. If you are admitted to the certificate program, those tuition fees will be deducted from the overall cost of the program.
