Join us on Friday, January 15 at 2pm for an ASK BA event featuring our new Digital Rights Contract.
2020 saw the biggest upset to the theatre industry in recent memory. What once was crowds of audience members gathering live became computer screens and Zoom login codes. With members in need, the Guild forged ahead by creating a New Media committee and releasing a Digital Rights Agreement to help writers keep working and claiming their fair share. This agreement is intended to be a model contract that will enable members to grant a non-profit producer the exclusive right to present live-streamed productions.

At Friday's event, New Media Committee Chair Kristoffer Diaz will discuss what’s next for the committee. Also on the panel will be Jim Hoare from Theatrical Rights Worldwide, providing a publisher's perspective. In addition, Ralph Sevush, David H. Faux, and Aisha DeCoteau from our Business Affairs Department will be on hand to answer all of your digital rights related questions.
