William Ivor Fowkes (he/him) is a playwright and author based in Manhattan and a member of the Dramatists Guild. His work has been presented in 29 states, the District of Columbia, the United Kingdom, Ireland, and Austria. Many of his plays have been presented on the radio, on podcasts, and online. Many have been published. His fiction has been published in many journals. 

His work has been developed or presented at Abingdon Theatre (NYC), The Collective NY, Downtown Urban Theater Festival (NYC), Ensemble Studio Theatre, Gallery Players (Brooklyn), The Great Plains Theatre Conference, IATI Theater Cimientos Development Program (NYC), LaBute New Theater Festival (St. Louis), Love Creek Productions (NYC), Penobscot Theatre Company (ME), Pittsburgh New Works Festival, The Players Ring (NH), Pulse Ensemble Theatre (NYC), Radio Theatre Project (FL), Renegade Actors Innsbruck (Austria), Silver Spring Stage (MD), Theatre Rhinoceros (San Francisco), Theatre Southwest (Houston), Turtle Shell Theater (NYC), UNLV Second Stage (Las Vegas), Vermont Actors’ Repertory Theatre, The Wild Project (NYC), The William Inge Theater Festival, and elsewhere.
