Composer Librettist Lyricist

Suzy Conn is a composer, lyricist, and librettist who had her mid-life crisis in her twenties and left a successful marketing career at Procter & Gamble to pursue songwriting. She spent the ‘90s in Nashville writing country songs and leading workshops for the Nashville Songwriters Association (NSAI). Her musicals have been produced coast to coast from Seattle to New York, and she has worked with theatres including The 5th Avenue Theatre, Village Theatre, Craterian Theater, and The Millbrook Playhouse. Her shows include Chick Flick the Musical (Westside Theatre, NYC),  The Mercer Girls (5th Avenue Theatre), Suffra-Jets, Jwhich tells the story of the emergence of the modern women’s movement in the swinging ‘60s Jet Age (first performed at the New York Musical Festival as Plane Crazy); and the TYA Field Trip series.
