Steven believes in the right medium for the right story, and can't sit still, so you can find his writing in a range of places. THERE SHE GOES is Steven's first full-length play, and FOR A CARROT is his most recent short play (both available on NPX). In other media, he wrote the comic book series STYX TAXI (http://styxtaxi.com), co-wrote the graphic novel EVERYMAN: BE THE PEOPLE, and co-wrote EXTREME ORNITHOLOGY, an audio short for the HUBRIS 24-hour podcasting project series. Upcoming projects include HIGH ABOVE YOU, an audio drama series.

In his other professional life, he has written extensively in the clean energy, sustainability and environmental sectors, with output as small as social media posts to as long-form as white papers, a microdocumentary and a podcast, The Decarbonization Race. He has led communications and marketing efforts at multiple U.S. federal agencies, two clean energy-focused companies, the Alliance to Save Energy and the Environmental Defense Fund. He has received a Master's in Public Affairs from the University of Texas and a degree in Theater Studies from Emory University.
