Rosemary Parrillo


Rosemary Parrillo's plays include The New Normal TrilogyShelterGrind CityLou's 24/7The Oasis Cafe, The Waiting Room, The Elephant Pit and Cent’Anni. The New Normal Trilogy was named a semifinalist for the 2017 O'Neill National Playwrights Conference. Her play,  Grind City, a one-act from The New Normal Trilogy, won the 2017 Dubuque One-Act Contest and received a festival production in September 2017. The Oasis Cafe, a one-act from The New Normal Trilogy, was a finalists in the 2018 Tennessee William's One Act Festival, New Orleans. Lou's 24/7, also a one-act from The New Normal Trilogy, has been a finalist in the  Tennessee William's One Act Festival. Her play Shelter received a festival production at Freedom Theater in Philadelphia. Parrillo's plays also have have been a finalist in The Strawberry One-Act Festival, New York; the Next Generation Playwriting Contest, New York, and a runner-up in the Philadelphia Ethical Humanist Society's One-Act Play Contest. Staged readings of her work also have been performed at a  number of theaters in New York, Philadelphia and New Jersey. Parrillo lives in Westfield and Marlton, N.J.
