ROGER BEAN created the off-Broadway hit The Marvelous Wonderettes (over 1,000 performances Off-Broadway: 18 months at the Westside Theatre, 3 years and running at the Kirk Theatre), along with the sequels Wonderettes: Caps & GownsWinter Wonderettes, Wonderettes: Dream On, and Wonderettes: Glee Club Edition. The original Los Angeles production of The Marvelous Wonderettes received the 2007 LA Ovation Award for Best Musical. Original cast albums for all Wonderettes shows are available from iTunes and Amazon. Mr. Bean's musical Life Could Be A Dream had a record-breaking 12-month run in Los Angeles, receiving the Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle Award and the LA Weekly Theatre Award for Outstanding Musical. 

Mr. Bean is the president of Stage Rights, a leading independent theatrical publisher in the United States, administering stock and amateur performance rights for an eclectic catalog of plays and musicals from Off-Broadway and beyond. Founded in Los Angeles in 2000, Stage Rights first came to prominence with budget-friendly, small-cast musicals, and expanded in 2009 to include a wide range of popular jukebox musicals, holiday favorites, family comedies, cutting-edge new work, site-specific plays, new classics, short plays, and the latest Off-Broadway hits. 

Mr. Bean is a member of the Alliance of Los Angeles Playwrights, SDC and the Dramatists Guild.
