Robert Bowie Jr. made his professional theater debut at FringeNYC 2018 with a previous version of The Grace of God & The Man Machine, then titled Onaje. Previously, ten of his plays were performed in community theaters, including a early version of Naked House Painting Society at The Baltimore Playwrights Festival and Crash & Burn P.A. at Theatrical Mining Company.
A graduate of Harvard University, Bowie was previously owner of a Baltimore law firm. Since retiring in 2013, he has been writing professionally full-time. Bowie has completed theater producing classes at Commercial Theater Institute (CTI) and O’Neill Conference. He is the poet laureate of The Harvard Alumni Association.
Upcoming projects include Vox Populi, an operetta about the deadly sin of Pride, with music by Christian De Gré Cardenas, to be produced by Mind the Art Entertainment.
