Meghan Gambling
Meghan won Best Playwriting at The New York International Fringe Festival for her play Bonnie’s Future Sisters, which was recommended by Variety Magazine and Playbill. Her first play, The Kitchen Sink, was adapted into the feature film, Cheesecake Casserole and is available on Amazon. Meghan’s short play Slipped was published in Applause’s Best New 10-Minute Plays of 2020 and premiered in 2019 at Los Angeles’ Theatre West. The short film adaptation of Slipped has screened at half a dozen film festivals across the U.S. Additionally, Meghan has worked as a writer for hire penning projects for various production companies, most recently the adaptation of the WWII memoir, My Thoughts Are Free and the rom-com Retaliationship, both of which are in pre-production with Barn38 Productions. TV producing credits include Roku’s What’s Happening in Hollywood, and A&E’s 2021 reboot of City Confidential. Meghan just completed her first novel, based on her play, Happy Harley. She is one half of the extreme couple comedy band, Identity Crush whose musical, Casual Lover/Sex Robot, is available on all streaming platforms. Meghan’s plays and monologues are published with Original Works, Smith & Kraus, and Applause Theatre & Cinema Books.
