Lindsay Partain is a playwright based out of Portland, Oregon. She holds a BA in Theatre from Pacific University and is currently an editor (and co-founder) for the online literary magazine, Cascadia Rising Review which features works by Pacific Northwest artists. Nationally, her work has appeared at the Mid-America Theatre Conference, the Midwest Dramatist Conference, Coneman Running (2019 & 2020), INKfest, Daisy Dukes Festival, STAGED, WildClaw, Paragon; a Sci-Fi + Fantasy Play Festival, Vanguard Arts Collective, Take Ten Festival, WinterFest, Instant Theatre Festival, Haywire Instant Theatre, Artist' Exchange, John DeSotelle Studio, Five & Dime Drama Collective, 2Cents Theatre, Bonita Center for the Arts, Alternative Theatre, Atlantic Acting School, The Tank, Whisper Skin Theatre, Iowa State University, and at Cherry Creek High School. Her work has also been produced at Theatre Deli in London and in South Kyushu, Japan. Lindsay’s 10-minute play "Shimmers", and monologues “Curves”, and “Backfired”, were all 1st place winners for Smith & Krauss' Best 10-Minute Plays of 2019 and Best Female Monologues of 2019. Lindsay has also been a finalist for Mildred's Umbrella, Heartland Theatre, Vanguard Arts Collective, NYC Audio Theatre, and was a top 4 semi-finalist for the 2019 Portland Civic Theatre's New Play Award. Her publications include The Best New Ten-Minute Plays 2021 (Applause), Stage It! 2 (Bonita Springs Center for the Arts), and in FLASH! An Anthology of Short Fiction.
