Lauren D’Errico is a librettist, playwright, and screenwriter. Her plays have been recently seen in New York City, Brooklyn, and Pittsburgh. Her short operas have premiered at Pittsburgh Opera, and will be seen at the Charlotte New Music Festival later this year. In 2018, her play How To Talk To Others (and Talking About Yourself) was a Bay Area Playwrights Festival finalist. All The Shades of You, her feature screenplay, was awarded second place in the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation Script Competition. She is a recipient of the Mary Marlin Fisher Award for Excellence in Playwriting. Her work is interested in failed communication, the psychology of fitness, and anxiety.
