Kristine M. Reyes

Playwright

Kristine M. Reyes is a playwright raised and based in New York City. She was a 2014-15 Dramatists Guild Fellow, and is a Writer-in-Residence at Mission to (dit)Mars. Her work has been performed in New York City, Chicago, Minneapolis, Los Angeles and San Francisco, and has been presented by Primary Stages, The One-Minute Play Festival, The Bechdel Project and CAPSLOCK Theatre, among others. Her plays include the full-lengths Eggs on Ice (Cherry Lane Theatre Mentor Project Nomination), Lily in Love (Queens Theatre’s New American Voices Reading Series; Mission to (dit)Mars Launch Pad Reading Series), Queen for a Day (Diverse City Theater Company’s First Draft Fellowship) and Stage/Mother; the one-acts Quarter Century Baby, Something Blue (both produced by DCT) and Lola Luning’s First Steps (commissioned and produced by Women of Color Productions); and the ten-minute plays Ready, Aim…Fire! (ESPA at Primary Stages; Disney/ABC Talent Showcase), Balikbayan Birthday (Leviathan Lab),  Puppy Love (Bindlestiff Studio) and Sunday Surprise (A-Squared Theatre Workshop).
