Three of Kim's one-act plays have recently been performed in the Boston area. “Butter,” a comedy/one-act play was performed to a standing-room-only crowd at the Backroom at the Burren in Somerville, Massachusetts in fall 2018. She directed & marketed the play. “Red Shoes” was produced as part of Barstool Stories dinner theatre in September 2017,  an evening of one-act plays set in local restaurants which Kim helped launch via marketing and PR.  “Social Disaster” was performed as part of Play In a Day community theatre in April 2017.   Her stories have been featured on the Moth Radio Hour (How You See Me, 5/2020)  and on NPR’s Talk of the Nation.   Her short stories, memoir and article have been published online at Wraparound South, Smith Magazine, Medium and Yahoo!. Kim was a contributing writer for the South Florida Sun Sentinel’s XS, a a regular contributor to The Superyachts annual book, Boat International magazine and PostMortem, the first weekly South Beach newspaper.  Her short story “Photo Finish” is included in the book The Moment (Harper Perennial ).   Kim is currently adapting her comedy show, “Butter” to film as an episodic comedy and doing sketch comedy with her cast on Instagram until Covid is over.
