Jordan Elizabeth Henry (she/her) lives on land that was cared for by generations of the Osage, Miami, Shawnee, and Kaskaskia peoples. She is an Autistic and Mad playwright whose work seeks to engage in the intersections of her identities while making space for the vision of members of other marginalized communities. Howling was a finalist for the O’Neill NPC 2023, Bay Street Theatre’s Title Wave Festival 2023, and Normal Avenue’s NAPSeries 2023; it was also a semifinalist for the Dramatist Guild’s Virtual Playwriting Fellowship 2023 and American Blues Theatre’s Blue Ink Award 2024. Her other plays have been developed with The Workshop Theatre (Down Cellar), Inkwell Theatre (A Witness), Wordsmyth Theatre (Transfiguration), the Inge New Play Initiave (Transfiguration), and others.
