  J.Lois Diamond is a playwright, poet and performer. Her full length, one-act,  monologues and ten-minute plays have been performed at various off-off Broadway venues, including Theater for the New City, The Wild Project and Project Y Theatre.  Her work has been presented regionally and in Canada,  at The William Inge Festival,  Theatre Odyssey,  The International Human Rights Art Festival and  The Last Frontier Theatre Conference.  Her monologues have been published in  Smith & Kraus’ Anthologies 2021, 2022, and 2023 and in Applause Books’ “She Persisted”.  She is a proud  member of Polaris North, Honor Roll! and The Playwrights' Center.  Her play  "I Feel Good!" was scheduled to be presented at The Signature Theatre as part of The Downtown Urban Arts Festival, 2020(cancelled due to the pandemic) .  She recently studied with Tina Howe at The Dramatists Guild Institute.  She has written over ten plays for the 365 Women A Year Project, and is committed to telling the stories of historic women, as a way to promote the value of all women.  jloisdiamond.com
