James Odin Wade is a Canadian playwright and screenwriter based in Brooklyn, New York. His work has been produced or developed through Lunchbox Theatre, the Calgary and Edmonton International Fringe Festivals, The University of Lethbridge, The University of Calgary, Sage Theatre's Ignite! Festival, Theatre Genesis and has garnered awards from across Canada. James serves as Co-Artistic Director of Calgary's Red Phone Theatre, he is a proud member of the 52nd Street Project in New York City and holds an MFA in Playwriting from the University of Calgary.

His work explores the primacy of narrative in our lives. It is often funny and a little heavy.
