She holds a B.A. in Music Theatre and English from Carthage College in Kenosha, WI, is a proud German-American dual citizen, loves to cook without a recipe, and has far too many houseplants for her small apartment (and yet, somehow not enough plants). Her works can also be found on the New Play Exchange. Apart from playwriting, Emma also works as a singer-actor and a freelance journalist, and dabbles in poetry, short story, creative nonfiction, and critical literature analysis.
