Dorian is a writer in theatre, film, and most recently completed her first novel THE BLACK FLAME: HELLBURNER, which is a 16th Century historical fiction/fantasy with a sci-fi twist. Her play DIVINATION had its world premiere at the American Theatre of Actors in New York City and her short play THE GRAVE, THE FAN, THE WIFE has been produced four times, most recently by NEO Theatre Ensemble in Los Angeles. She worked with renowned Scots film director Gillies MacKinnon on her screenplay JUST THREE THINGS, which was a semifinalist in the Final Draft “Big Break” Screenwriting Competition and her play CARNEGIE HILL was optioned for Broadway in 2010, and premiered at Clockwise Theatre in Chicago the following year. Five of her screenplays have advanced as “Second Rounders” (top 20%) at the Austin Film Festival, and her work is published in Applause Books’ BEST 10-MINUTE PLAYS OF 2020 and BEST WOMEN’S MONOLOGUES OF 2020
