David Davis has had 17 scripts produced, including productions in New York and Hollywood. His script, NIGHT OF THE HAWK, was produced off-off Broadway in 1987 and again in 2003. He won the Getchell New Play Award for FIVE EXITS in 1997 and subsequent production by First Stage Productions. He has also had productions at the Orlando Fringe Festival, Hollywood Actors Theatre, Stage Door Players, Koalaty Productions, Atlanta Theatre-To-Go, and several colleges, as well as numerous readings and staged readings. He has also had several poems, magazine features, and scholarly articles published. He earned a Ph.D. in Theatre and is a member of the Dramatists Guild and Working Title Playwrights. He has worked as a physics and math teacher, actor, head of three college theatre programs, technical writer, editor, and health communications specialist. He currently lives in Atlanta, GA, with his wife, Kathy, and has one daughter, Elizabeth.
