Playwright Librettist

Born in southernmost Arkansas, Darren currently resides in Clarksville, Tennessee, with his lovely wife Allie, their beautiful daughter Matilda, and their dog, Stella.  His work has been produced across the country from Nashville, Tennessee to New York City including Willie Nelson Ain't Dead, Imaginary Conversations with My Daughter, Feathers, and Lyla Builds a Spaceship. Currently on faculty at Austin Peay State University, Darren is a member of the Dramatists’ Guild, the Tennessee Theatre Association, and the Southeastern Theatre Conference. His full-length play Scarecrows Will Never See A Sunset is published through Steele Springs Stage Rights in Los Angeles, California.
