Dan Taube

A proud member of The Dramatists Guild, I have spent the last 27 years  directing, acting and writing in Professional and Educational Theatre. A graduate of New York University, I received my BFA in Acting from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. Also a graduate of DePaul University, I received my MFA in Directing from DePaul University's The Theatre School.

In August of 2019 I was the recipient of the M.E.H. Lewis Scholarship at Chicago Dramatists and became a Network Playwright there.

Throughout 2019 and 2020 I have devoted myself exclusively to the craft of writing plays. Subsequently, as an emerging writer I have had readings produced by Chicago Dramatists Workshop, Play Readings with Friends and Act Your Page.

I hope you enjoy my plays.
