Dana Hall


Dana Hall is an accomplished playwright and award-winning author. She has been a Chicago-based actor for two decades and is mental health therapist in private practice. Her award-winning child’s book Beyond Words was released in 2020 and she is featured in the anthology, Made to Overcome. She co-founded, and as is the creative director, of This Moment Productions (TMP). TMP was founded during the pandemic with the mission to continue to make the arts more inclusive, equitable, and diverse and to continue to use the power of storytelling to unite global patrons.
She was invited to be a part of the NPC Playwriting Program as a student mentor. Her plays have been featured at Inkwell Theatre (Ca)., Drawing Cats Theatre (NYC), Palos Village Players (Chicago), Equity Theatre (NYC), Triangle Rainbow Theatre & Riante Theatre (NYC), The New Deal Creative Arts Center (NY), and Rogue Theatre Festival (NYC) to name a few. She was nominated Best Director at Triangle Rainbow Theatre’s LGBTQ play festival (NYC 2021). She’ll be on the virtual stage as an actor with Geneva Theatre Guild (NY) in May 2021 and is excited to be directing at Rainy Day Artistic Collective (OR) for their Lightning Round Festival April 17th & 18th 2021.

Along with writing dozens of one-acts and short plays, her full-length virtual comedy, The Tenant, is in rehearsal and set to be produced for LIVE streaming by This Moment Productions on May 7,8,9th 2021.
