Craig Lancaster is the author of ten novels (including the bestselling 600 Hours of Edward and his latest, Northward Dreams) and a collection of short stories, The Art of Departure. His work has been honored by the Montana Book Awards, the High Plains Book Awards, the Utah Book Awards, the Independent Book Publisher Awards, and others.

His first full-length play, Straight On To Stardust, made its world premiere in October 2023 with a staging by Yellowstone Repertory Theatre. In November 2024, his second play, The Garish Sun, received a nine-performance run by Yellowstone Repertory Theatre.

He lives in Billings, Montana, with a dog named Fretless.
