
Bruce Karp
Bruce Karp is a native of New York City. He has written several ten-minute and one-act plays, many of which have been performed at South Florida and other U.S. theater festivals, as well as in Canada and India. Three of his full-length plays have had staged readings in Florida. Recent credits: His fourth full-length, "Clear Blue Sky" had a staged reading at The Sauk, Jonesville, MI, and was filmed and streamed by The Heights Players in Brooklyn, NY. "The Best" (Take Ten Play Festival, Broward College, Florida); "Above and Beyond" (Playwright's Round Table, Florida; Phoenix World Theater, Kochi, India); "Picking Your Nose" (Crafton Hills College New Play Festival, California); "The Portrait" (Nomad Theater, Illinois); "Prom Night" (Fantasy Theater Factory, Florida); "Goy Meets Girl" (Delray Beach Playhouse, Florida).

My 9/11-themed play "Clear Blue Sky" was filmed and streamed for three weekends (just prior to the 20th anniversary) by The Heights Players, a 65-year old mainstay of community theater based in Brooklyn, NY.
