AUDREY LANG (she/her/hers) is a playwright born and raised in New York City and currently a senior theatre studies major at Ithaca College. She is an alumna of MCC Theater Youth Company’s Playwriting Lab, taught by Lucy Thurber, and was a 2017 resident at SPACE on Ryder Farm with MCC. She was a Bernard B. Jacobs Intern at New Dramatists for the summer of 2019 and is a proud member of Ring of Keys, a national network of queer women, trans, and gender non-conforming artists working on and offstage in musical theatre. She has had work developed and performed internationally as well as in her native NYC and her college town of Ithaca, NY. Audrey writes about complex female characters, especially queer female characters, and explores themes of mental health, sexual assault and abuse, Jewish identity, love, sisterhood, and family.
