AUDREY LANG (she/her/hers) is a lesbian Jewish playwright  born and raised in New York City, currently living in Summit County, Colorado, where she is a Vivo Teaching Artist at Theatre SilCo. Her plays include You Have To Promise (2023 Bay Street Theater Title Wave New Works Festival, 2021 Finalist for Judith Royer Excellence in Playwriting Award, 2020 Pride Plays), alex getting better (2022 U.K. Premiere at Theatre Zima, 2020-2024 School & Community Theatre Productions), Birdie and Cait and the Book of Life (2023 Jewish Plays Project Finalist, 2020-21 Original Idiots The Generator, 2020 Workshop Theater Intensive), Lily Ineffable (2022 Jewish Plays Project Finalist), BalancéRye Bread, and Karate Girls Are The Toughest. Favorite ten-minute and monologue work includes two play selections for Theatre503's Rapid Write Response program and two Viral Monologues with The 24 Hour Plays.
