What are your rights as a theater writer?
100 Years ago, the Guild was founded by theater writers and today is run by an elected council of professional writers that includes Doug Wright, Lisa Kron, Lynn Nottage, and Julia Jordan.
As the only national trade association for playwrights, composers, lyricists and librettists, the Guild, with over 7000 members, aims not only to protect your copyright but to provide every member a voice in the maintenance of hard-fought victories.
You are not alone and your career is just starting.
Make sure someone has your back.
To activate your membership, you must fill out the application using the ABOVE link and submit new supporting materials. Your complimentary membership starts the day you submit your application.
