We invite all theatre writers, actors, directors, technicians, designers, and more interested in helping to workshop and cultivate new works to join us. Creatives beyond the Pheonix, AZ region are welcome. It is free and open for all DG Members and non-members to attend.

This group typically meets once a month on the last Sunday of each month.

If you would like to have your work read, please email John Perovich at southwest@dramatistsguild.com with your excerpt (which can range from 10 minutes to two hours in length) and the date of the event at which you'd like to read your work. Please note that there are a limited number of available slots, and work will be selected on a first come, first served basis. We ask you to please also submit any content warnings that you would like to share with audience members. If selected, please either bring physical, printed copies of your play to be read or be prepared to share it electronically with others.
