MINNEAPOLIS/ST. PAUL: End of Play.™ Kick Off Event
Join your fellow playwrights across the country in creating a brand new play (or revising an old one)! March, 2020 will be End of Play.™ month. Writers will set a goal for themselves at the beginning and post weekly updates about how they are doing to the community. Goals may include writing a new full length play/musical, two one act plays/musicals, or completing a second draft of any of the above. At the end, participants will be invited to a party to celebrate writing. Ultimately, the goal of End of Play.™, is to get writers to the finish line through motivation, community and a party!
Both Dramatists Guild members and non-members in the Twin Cities and beyond are invited to an End of Play.™ kick-off event on Saturday, February 29, 4-6 pm at Common Roots Café in Minneapolis.
If you can’t make the kickoff but want to participate in End of Play.™, there will be more opportunities for connection and support at one of our weekly in-person check-ins or through Zoom meetings hosted by your #TCDG team in the month of March. This option is also available to members in far-reaching areas.
