Playwrights J. Nicole Brooks and Natalie Y. Moore discuss the lasting influence of Lorraine Hansberry on their work, on American writing, and on the city of Chicago. Co-presented with the Lorraine Hansberry Initiative, this program will be moderated by Ericka Ratcliff, artistic director of the Congo Square Theatre.
Wine, beer, and cheese reception begins at 5:00 pm. Program begins at 5:30 pm.
