BALTIMORE: End of Play.™ Kick Off Event

February 15, 2020 / 12:00 PM - 02:00 PM

Dramatists Guild members and non-members are invited to participate in a kick-off workshop for End of Play.™, a Guild-sponsored initiative designed to engage playwrights in creating new plays or revising old ones. In March 2020, the Guild will celebrate End of Play.™ month, culminating in a shared celebration of new work.

In Baltimore, we are encouraging playwrights to think about a particular theme—suffrage—as a starting point. Playwright Rich Espey will lead a conversation and prompt-writing workshop exploring the theme as a question: If you want more rights than you’ve got, why not just take them and stop talking about it?

Note that the space reserved for the kick-off event only holds 30. However, there is no limit to the number of regional playwrights who may participate in End of Play.™.
