SUMMARY
In this comedy-drama, Ike is hospitalized with a life-threatening condition. In dreams and in reality, he is forced to confront the emotional limitations of the maleness he was raised with. Will he continue to follow the dictates of his alter ego, Zacky? Or can he let go in time to win back Yuliana, his true love whom he’s held at a distance too long.
A talk back with the playwright will occur after the reading.
DG Footlights is a gratis program, created and moderated by the Dramatists Guild, that connects dramatists with free space in which to hold a public reading of a new work that is currently in development. The purpose of the DG Footlights series is to provide Guild members with an opportunity to gain exposure, to develop their craft, and to obtain credentials. Attendance is always free and open to all.
