As a service to international dramatists, including playwrights, composers, lyricists, and librettists, the Dramatists Guild offers O-1 no-objection letters for those seeking artist visas in the United States. Fees and other requirements are as follows:
For Active Guild Members
Standard Fee: $150 for a letter to be done within thirty (30) days of receipt of materials.
Expedited Fee: $250 for a letter to be done within ten (10) days of receipt of materials.
Requested Materials:
- Proof of production and/or a play/musical that the applicant has written.
- Any other materials the applicant deems necessary for drafting a successful letter such as a C.V. or resume, press clippings, or award announcements.
For Non Guild Members
Standard Fee: $250* for a letter to be done within thirty (30) days of receipt of materials.
Expedited Fee: $400* to be done within ten (10) days of receipt of materials.
*Fee for non-members includes one (1) free year of Dramatists Guild membership.
