Kelly DuMar

Kelly is a Boston area playwright whose award winning short, one-act and full-length plays for adults and youth have been produced around the US, and in TORONTO, and are published by Heuer, Brooklyn, Youth Plays, as well as in Smith & Kraus acting anthologies.  Kelly is founder and co-producer of the Our Voices Festival of Boston area Women’s Plays, currently in residence at Regis College, Weston, MA,  now in its 6th year.  

A lover of storytelling in all its forms, Kelly is a Playback Theatre Artist and member of Playback North America; she is certified psychodramatist and Fellow in the American Society for Group Psychotherapy & Psychodrama, and she's author of a book on diary writing as storytelling, Before You Forget - The Wisdom of Writing Diaries for Your Children, (Red Pail Press, 2001, available at Amazon.com.)

Kelly lives in the woods on the Charles River in Massachusetts with her husband, three children, and chocolate and yellow labs, Charleston and Suzi Q.
