MISSION OF THE FUND

The Mission of The Dramatists Guild Fund is to operate exclusively for artistic, charitable, scientific, literary or educational purposes, with particular devotion, within these purposes, to: advancing and improving the condition and welfare of persons engaged in the writing and creation of dramatic, musical and other literary works and compositions for the theatre in the United States; to provide aid and assistance to dramatists, composers and to others now or formerly engaged in the writing or creation of such works, and to those dependent upon them in case of need; and to foster, stimulate and improve the writing, creation and composition, and presentation to the public, of dramatic, musical, literary and artistic works of merit for the theatre and related arts.
