Alan Menken is an award-winning composer of songs and scores for both stage and screen including The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, Newsies, Pocahontas, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Hercules, Home on the Range, and Little Shop of Horrors.
He has received numerous awards including the Tony, eight Oscars, seven Golden Globes and ten Grammys, as well as the London Evening Standard, Olivier, New York Drama Critics, Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle Awards.
